PBA to present code to ministry in 15 days

The Pakistan Broadcasters Association (PBA) confirmed that it will present the final Voluntary Self-Regulating Code of Conduct to the information and broadcasting minister in 15 days, after constitutional and legal vetting by its counsel.
This was stated by PBA Chairman Mir Shakil-ur-Rahman, in a meeting held in Islamabad, in the information and broadcasting ministry on Monday. The meeting unanimously decided that a joint committee comprising members representing the PBA, the information ministry and Pemra will be constituted to finalise this Code.
