The following clarification has been received from CAA: "Reference to a news item published in your esteemed newspaper Daily 'Business Recorder', Karachi, dated 25-06-2007, under caption 'Audit Reports show huge misuse of funds by CAA, NHA and CDA'.
"It is clarified that contention of Government Audit published in the newspaper is based on proposed draft paras for the year 2004-05. However, Auditor General's report for the year 2004-05 has yet not been received in CAA. The contention of CAA will be presented in the DAC meeting and then in the PAC meeting as and when held as per procedure."-PR
