Lawyers' movement which was launched after the episode of March 9, 2007 has achieved its goals with the massive participation of different organisations of civil society including doctors, teachers, students and scholars.
This was maintained by the representatives of the Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) and different organisations of civil society in a joint press conference, here on Tuesday.
Secretary LHCBA Sarfraz Cheema said that the lawyers' movement has created awareness among the masses, which had been leading a distress life in a dictatorial environment. Now the time has come to evolve a strategy to resolve the basic problems being faced by the masses, he added.
Cheema said that the bar would soon hold a seminar for the awareness of masses, as they should know what are their problems and what is their solution. Masses are the real leaders of the country and they should know that the real solution of their problems in fair and free elections.
