The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Punjab has declared Daska as a first ever drug-free city of the Punjab. This was disclosed by the officials of a Daska based local NGO, while addressing a seminar held at Daska in connection with International day of Anti-Drugs, here on Tuesday.
The speakers thanked the ANF for announcing this honour for Daska city. The said NGO also held an anti-drugs awareness raising walk in city. The participants from all walks of life participated. They were holding banners and placards and chanted anti-drugs slogans and pledged to make all out sincere efforts to purge the country from narcotics.
