A delegation of Indonesian Supreme Court on Tuesday visited Federal Shariat Court (FSC) here. FSC Chief Justice Haziqul Khari, Justice Allama Dr Fida Muhammad Khan, and Justice Salah-ud-Din Mirza received the distinguished guests and briefed them about the establishment, jurisdiction and important judgements delivered by the FSC, says a press release.
The members of the delegation asked many questions about the economic system of Pakistan with specific reference to Islam. They were provided complete information about Riba judgement and its present status. The FSC chief justice presented souvenir and set of books to the members of the delegation.
The judges of Supreme Court of Indonesia and the FSC judges agreed to continue mutual co-operation in judicial field.
