PML-Q in position to sweep general polls: Arbab

The Sindh Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim has said that Pakistan Muslim League (Q) was strengthening day by day and was in a position to sweep over the forthcoming general elections in Sindh and other provinces as well.
This he said while talking to the journalists at Zila Nazim Secretariat Tando Allahyar on Friday. The Sindh Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim who is also the provincial head of the PML (Q) arrived at Tando Allahyar on short visit to review the arrangements for the public meeting to be conducted by PML (Q) at Tando Allahyar on July 5, 2007.
To a question, the Sindh chief minister said that more than 100,000 people would attend the PML (Q) public meeting at Tando Allahyar which would also be followed by inaugurations of various development projects of Tando Allahyar.
The Sindh chief minister said that it was because of the services of the PML (Q) that Dr Irfan Gul Magsi the provincial Minister for Revenue has announced to join the PML (Q) along with his all friends and political colleagues. Likewise many other political as well as social personalities of the province are continuously joining PML (Q), he added.
Replying another question, the Sindh chief minister said that President's election would be held earlier than the general elections because of constitutional obligation. To another question, he said that there was no any difference in between the coalition partners neither on local nor on provincial or national level. He said that PML (Q) was enjoying good cooperation from its political partners and added that it would be continued in future as well.
About the rain losses, the Sindh chief minister said that he himself was reviewing and getting reports about rain losses from the concerned authorities and added that relief to all rain victims be ensured. He said that in addition to that all the concerned departments and organisations have been directed for adopting precautionary measures in advance so that the losses of rain/flood could be minimised.
Earlier, soon after his arrival at Tando Allahyar, the Sindh Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim held meeting with the different delegations at Zila Nazim Secretariat Tando Allahyar and also presided over the meeting of Taluka/Union Council Nazims, notables at the committee room of district Nazim Secretariat Tando Allahyar.
Addressing the meeting of Nazims and notables, the Sindh chief minister said that PML (Q) believes to serve the common people especially through development of the backward areas. He said that creation of Tando Allahyar district and its development within two to three years was an example of the people friendly policy of PML (Q). He said that PML (Q) intends to continue this development chain with the support of deprived/ignored/ and poor people of the province.
The Sindh Minister for Revenue Dr Irfan Gul Magsi addressing the meeting announced for joining PML (Q) along with his friends and supporters and also advised the other elected representatives and leaders of the district to follow his step in the interest of common people. He lauded the efforts of Sindh chief minister that he has taken for the development of Tando Allahyar and said that we the people of Tando Allahyar could continue this chain of development of the district by supporting and strengthening the PML (Q).
The Taluka Nazim Jhando Mori Mir Ghulam Muhammad alias Mir Papoo and renowned agriculturist Zulfiqar Yousfani acknowledging the services of Sindh Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim for the development of Tando Allahyar also announced to join PML (Q) along with their friends, relatives and supporters. They were of the view that more personalities of the district would join PML (Q) in near future.
The district Nazim Dr Rahila Magsi, Taluka union council Nazims of the district, regional and district officers of various provincial and district government Tando Allahyar were also present on the occasion.
