Navy continues rescue operations

The Pak Navy is continuing its search and rescue operations alongside the coastal belt of Balochistan. An ISPR (Navy) statement here on Saturday said the relief activities have also been started in Gwadar and the surrounding areas.
In addition to this, the Pak Navy is also providing relief by helicopters to the affected people the eatables and other goods made available by the welfare organisations. It was also stated that a Fokker plane of Pak Navy arrived at the PNS Base Mehran here carrying 46 people from Ormara and immediately shifted them to PNS Shifa.
These people belonging to Karachi had gone on different dates to Turbat, Pasni, Ormara and Gwadar to meet their relatives. They were stranded due to damage to the Coastal Highway.
The Pak Navy helicopters brought them to Jinnah Naval Base Ormara where they were provided medical attention as well as other necessary items. Meanwhile, a Pak Navy Fokker took the divers, commandos and marines with necessary rescue and survival equipment as well as medicines and eatables to Ormara.
