Over Rs 310 million tax-free budget for Hyderabad district unveiled

Taluka Latifabad Nazim Engineer Sabir Hussain Kaimkhani has presented over 310 million tax-free and surplus budget of district Hyderabad, Taluka Latifabad for 2007-8 fiscal year in Taluka council.
Naib Nazim and convenor Shujah-ud-din Sheikh was present on the occasion. MPAs Aslam Parvaiz Advocate, Farzana Saeed, district Naib Nazim Zaffar Rajput, City Nazim Jawaid Jabber, Shabbar Chusti, taluka officials and members were also present in the council meeting.
Taluka Latifabad Nazim in his budget speech said that Sindh government had increased 15 percent salaries of the employees. Annual increment and development expenditure are set over Rs 214 million and over Rs 101.50 million estimated for developmental expenditure. Non-developmental expenditure estimated Rs 128.29 million.
In developmental expenditure over Rs 2.4 million are set for citizen community board. Last year developmental expenditure were 167.11 percent. First time in Taluka Latifabad municipal administration 5 million Rs are suggested to allocate for retired employees gratuity and in arrears.
Other detail includes gold medal to the position holder students 4 lac. Rs, 2 lac for aid to poor people, for sports 2 lac, for distributing machines to poor people 5 lac Rs, 1 lac for granting to scholars, journalists and ulema, Rs 25 thousand for press club.
