Prices show upward trend on grain market

Upward trend was seen on the grain market on Monday though most of the buyers kept on the sidelines due to higher prices, dealers said. On the seed side rapeseed Nawabshah low type gained Rs 40 to Rs 1150, good type rose by Rs 35 to Rs 1135.
Dadulane was up by Rs 25 to Rs 950, good type was hgiher by Rs 40 to Rs 975.Mirpurlane was higher by Rs 55 to Rs 1090 and best type was up by Rs 45 to Rs 1095.Cakes, however, shed Rs 5 to Rs 370-375, they said.
Cottonseed oilcake with bag good type lost Rs 45 to Rs 555 while the inferior type did not show any change at Rs 400, they said. On the rice counder Irri-6 Sindh gained Rs 20 to Rs 1610-1640, they said. Other sectors did not budge any side in process of trading, dealers said.
