The lawyers continued their token strike here on Wednesday against suspension of Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry and observed one hour token strike. During the strike, the protesting lawyers remained present in the Bar room and joined the hunger strike camps established in the premises of the Lahore High Court Bar Association.
The lawyers had set up two camps one by the Bar and other by 'Adliya Bechao Committee' (ABC) while a camp was also set up by the Lahore Bar Association. Senior Bar members, Bar office bearers, political and human rights activists and members of civil society joined these camps.
