NAB arrests former JPMC employee

National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Sindh, on Wednesday arrested Syed Waseem Akhtar, an ex-employee of Jinnah Hospital, involved in a bank fraud case and obtained his remand up to July 15.
According to the NAB, the accused, a former computer operator in JPMC, unauthorisedly obtained the cheque books of two complainants, who had come from Punjab, from NBP Cardiovascular Branch and withdrew amount from their accounts with their fake signatures. Initial investigation revealed that some bank employees are also involved in the fraud.
