Investment under Continuous Funding System (CFS) on Karachi share market stood at Rs 54.61 billion on Friday, July 13, as compared to Rs 54.58 billion a week ago. The rates declined by 50 bps to settle at 11.5 percent against 12 percent of previous Friday.
PPL, OGDC, NBP, POL and PSO contributed 45 percent (Rs 24.5 billion) to total investment. Open interest and future spreads in the July counter settled marginally higher at Rs 10.94 billion at the rate of 6.67 percent, against Rs 10.35 billion at the rate of 6.22 percent on previous Friday (July 8).
Average trading volume was 60.9 million shares as compared to 56.1 million shares a week earlier, ie 8.6 percent higher. OGDC, POL, PPL, NBP and MCB remained top 5 scrips by value, and contributed 54 percent to the total open interest.
