Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 128,520 tonnes cargo including 112,406 tonnes import, 16,114 tonnes export cargo and 4,077 containers (TEUs) during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Monday. The cargo comprised of 61,122 tonnes dry cargo including 53,202 tonnes general cargo; 7,920 tonnes bulk cargo and 67,398 tonnes oil/liquid cargo.
Ten ships namely OEL Spirit, Banga Delima, Wan Hai-303, Sinar Agra, Alexa M, Federal St Laurant, New Setokaze, Lady Jasmine, Adriatic Arrow and Rose sailed out to sea during the report period. Eleven vessels viz Corinthiakos, OEL Shreyas, Wan Hai-303, Ever Govern, Banga Delima, Adriatic Arrow, Al-Abdulla, Bao Xing, Rose, Zhong Hua-7 and MT Johar are currently at the berths.
Two ships namely Ever Govern and Bohijin expected to sail on Monday, while four vessels viz OEL Shreyas, MT Johar, Iran Shahryar and Corinthiakos expected to sail on Tuesday. Three vessels viz MT Swat, Iran Shahryar and Wadi Al-Rayan due to arrive on Monday, while seven ships namely Champion Artic, Jitra Bhum, Hansa Stavanger, APL Sokhna, Fatima-1, Blue Seas and African Princess are due to arrive on Tuesday.

Five ships namely CV Sima Pride, CV MSC Finland, CV Pacheco, MT Al-Maqwa and MT Oriental Miho sailed out to sea during last 24 hours, while another vessel viz MT Frontier Express is expected to sail on Monday. A total of four ships namely MSC Dymphna, Emirates Maersk, Gras Mare Maersk and Keefan carrying containers and diesel oil are currently at the outer anchorage.
Six vessels viz CV Sima Pride, CV MSC Finland, CV Pacheco, MV Asco, MT Frontier Express and MV Hamburg Harmony are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, diesel oil and iron ore respectively during the report period.
Three vessels viz CV MSC Dymphna, CV Gras Mare Maersk and MT Keefan due to take berths at Container Terminal and Fotco Terminal and respectively on Monday.
Two vessels viz CV Nedlloye Africa and MT Mogogini with containers and chemicals due to arrive on Monday, while three more ships namely CV Pacheco, CV ACX Plumeria and MT Shemrock Venus with containers and chemicals are due to arrive on Tuesday.
