Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan, who is also the chancellor of all the public sector universities in Sindh, has appointed Professor Dr Nilofar Shaikh as the vice-chancellor of Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur.
Professor Nilofar Shaikh is the first lady ever appointed as the vice-chancellor in Sindh. Her appointment is effective from July 30 for a period of four years, an official handout from Governor's Secretariat said on Thursday.
