Brain drain

27 Jul, 2007

A brain drain or human capital flight is emigration of trained and talented individuals (human capital) for other nations or jurisdiction due to conflict, lack of opportunities or health hazards where they are living. This is a very serious issue specially facing third world countries because talented and educated individuals rapidly go aboard.
The reason behind this crisis is the lack of opportunities and lack of better working conditions etc due to which not a single educated person wants to live here and does not want to serve for the betterment of his nation and country.
This is quite a terrible situation that we are facing. So there is a need that our government should offer better opportunities for career according to the merit of a person, maintain better working conditions so that no one will even think about another country. And if we will not think about it seriously, the other countries will get benefit from our assets and one day our country will have no talented and educated people.
