Pakistan Muslim League on Wednesday announced its candidate for national and provincial assembly seats from Lahore. According to Aaj TV, decision to this effect was taken in a high-level meeting held here.
Pakistan Muslim League Chairman Chaudhry Shujaat will contest election from NA-122 while Provincial Minister for Tourism Mian Aslam Iqbal will be his covering candidate.
Former PML President Mian Muhammad Azhar will contest from NA-118, Khwaja Tahir Zia from NA-119, Suhail Butt from NA-120 and Provincial Minister Abdul Aleem Khan will be PML (Q) candidate from NA-127. The party has also decides that Azeem Haneef, Nawaz Nat and Chaudhry Asghar will be PML candidates for provincial assembly seats.
