Theatre has its own value, which can play a vital role to bring a drastic change in the society. Its value can be enhanced by using it (theatre) as an influential plate-forum for highlighting the social issues and their solutions and by doing so it can positively help produce strong mind sets in society, which is a noble cause.
These views were expressed by a well-known poet and writer Amjad Islam Amjad while addressing to an audience here on Thursday at Alhamra Hall. He said, "It is through theatre and other relevant performing arts we can throw light on the various social issues, problem and other solutions."
