Five Pakistanis executed in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia said on Friday it had beheaded five Pakistanis and one Nigerian for drug smuggling and armed robbery, one of the highest numbers of executions in the kingdom in a single day.
The executions, announced in interior ministry statements carried by the official SPA news agency, take to 117 the number of people beheaded in Saudi Arabia so far this year, passing the total of 113 for the whole of 2000, which was the highest in recent years.
