Downward trend was seen on the grain market on Saturday as leading buyers were on the sidelines in the process of trading, dealers said. On the cereal side masoor Canada lost Rs 200 to Rs 3900. Wheat old and new with Bardana shed Rs 5 to Rs 1260 and 1275, they said.
On the grams side yeallow peas Canada was sharply lower by Rs 350 to Rs 2750-2875, other types maintained overnight levels, they said. Sugar prices were down by Rs 50 to Rs 2750-2850, dealers said.
