Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan has said that the Call Center established by City District Government Karachi (CDGK) is one of the modern centre and it will play importunate role for the solution to the citizens' problems on the spot besides restoring their confidence in city organisations.
This he said during his visit to the centre here on Sunday. The governor said that this system would also be linked with other organisation like police and traffic departments and their performance would also improved.
He said that at present the system comprised 50 agents and this number would later be raised. The governor said that the modern complaint centre working round-the-clock would apprise City Nazim and DCO Karachi about the problems.
He said that every town had been linked to the centre, adding union councils would also be connected to this centre. Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan directed City Nazim to take steps for sending complaints of people, who were not coming in the jurisdiction of city government, to their respective organisations. He hoped that the centre was a big milestone and it would help provide a relief to the citizens.
The governor also visited Gulshan-e-Iqbal Town and inspected link of town with the centre. He also visited Asghar Ali Shah Stadium where he distributed prizes among children who participated in cricket summer camp and announced Rs10,000 prizes each for 10 players for their best performance.
