Bread prices up

Poor people have to face more tough time to fill their stomach as Roti (bread) has become more expensive due to increase in its prices by Re one per Tandoori Naan. Tandoor owners have said that the prices of ata and ghee have gone up in the local market, hence they are compelled to increase the price of Naan.
Earlier, a Tandoori Naan was available for rupees three and now it was being sold at rupees four. In posh areas like Clifton and Defence, a Naan was selling at Rs 3.50, but it cost Rs 4.50. Besides, the prices of bakery bread have also gone up.
Plain bread, which was priced at Rs 30 per bread, now cost Rs 32. The price of medium-size bread was increased from Rs 25 to Rs 26 and small bread's price increased from Rs 17 to Rs 18.
