An accused, managed to fox Lahore High Court security officials after being helped by his counsel. According to detail an accused Abdul Rashid escaped from the court after his counsel Rana Farhan assisted him following the dismissal of his bail.
There are confirmed reports that Kasur's Mustafabad Police Station investigating officer also abetted Rashid and tortured a woman named Hajrain bibi and her nephew trying to stop them from helping the former in slipping away.
Hajrian bibi was running a religious school in Kasur when Rashid joined her to help in construction but later occupied the building. She went to the police to have her property returned but the police refused to help. When she got a criminal record case against him, Rashid went to the court for bail.
The court heard Hajrian and cancelled Rashid's bail. When Rashid was leaving the court, trying to slip away, Hajrian screamed for help, telling court security men to force him to stop. Counsel Farhan then stopped the court security men with the help of his colleagues, allowing Rashid to fox them.
