The local government has launched a project to provide housing to homeless people by allotting plots to the poor and deserving people. Minister for Colonies Mian Manazar Ali Ranjha told different delegations in his office that 28 districts got 114,296 plots of 5-marla in the first phase with the allotment of another 100,431 plots in progress.
Ranjha also said his department had prepared 215,332 plots in the province for allotments.
