Saudi Pak Commercial Bank Limited has earned Rs 1,027.296 million in the half year ended on June 30 as compared to Rs 725.714 million in the corresponding period last year. The board of directors of the bank, in its meeting, announced that the earning per share stood at Rs 0.22 in the period under review against Rs 0.36 in the same period last year.
In an information sent to the Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE), it said that the net mark-up/interest income of the bank declined to Rs 298.626 million in the six months period in 2007 against Rs 355.030 million earned during the same period in 2006. Total non-mark-up/interest income of the bank increased to Rs 462.740 million in this period against Rs 328.008 million earned previously.
