Holders Pakistan Wapda will take on Afghanistan when four quarter-finals of third National Women Football Championship will be played at Islamabad on Tuesday, August 21.
Wapda is considered favourite to beat Afghanistan, which is taking part for the first time. Wapda, which won the last edition under former FIFA Referee Naeem Zaidi, topped Group-B, displacing Pak Punjab on better goal counts. Afghanistan, first timer in PFF's women showpiece event, finished second behind Sindh's Diya Club in Group-D, which will face Pak Punjab and is one of the hot contenders for the title on 24th August.
