New Delhi: A complaint was filed against Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal for allegedly assaulting a man in Delhi, but the actor claims the news is 'untrue'.
It is reported that the ‘Rock On’ actor attacked the man with a camera flash at a nightclub in Delhi and following which a complaint was lodged against the actor. Reacting to the false news, Arjun Rampal said that he did not assault anyone and don’t know who cooked the false story.
Rampal took to Twitter to deny the allegations of assaulting a man at a nightclub in New Delhi.
According to Times of India, the victim, named Shobhit, "I went for a Saturday night party. Arjun Rampal was playing the DJ console. He suddenly threw a camera towards the audience, which hit me."
Shobhit said, "I don't know why he threw the camera. The incident took place at around 3.30am. I have complained, but the police have not taken any action. No FIR has been registered till now," he added.
As per information, the actor, who was playing the DJ at a hotel in Delhi last night, was peeved when a photographer tried to click his pictures. He then snatched his camera and threw it towards the audience on the dance floor, injuring Shobhit badly.
According to Delhi Police, the incident happened last night, when the actor was playing as a DJ at Privee nightclub located in a five-star hotel in Lutyens Delhi.
Meanwhile, investigation is on and police is looking into the CCTV footage of the club.
