Major stock markets outside the United States ended on Friday.
The pan-European FTSEurofirst 300 index closed 0.34 percent higher, at 1,514.43, rising for the sixth session in a row.
The All-share index was 0.18 percent lower at 27,417.93 points, giving up 50.14 points during the day, but higher by 1433.08 on the week.
The All Gold index closed at 2232.95 points, down 2.01 or 0.09 percent on Friday but up 29.79 on the week. The Industrial index closed at 19348.87 points, down 106.95 or 0.55 percent, but better off on the week by 804.21 points.
