Robots on cutting edge of gardening

A Belgian company is trying to turn robotic lawnmowers into an established product. Robotic mowers, which are powered by electric motors and guided by sonic sensors, have been sold for about 10 years without making more than a dent in sales of mowing equipment, Gulf Times reported.
This year the 15-person company hopes to sell 200 machines, twice as many as last year, to provide sales of 1.8 million dollars.
