Good qualities

To err is human and to admit the same is a plus point for the person who does so. Likewise, plain talking without mincing words is also a good habit which should be duly appreciated.
One can agree or disagree with what President General Pervez Musharraf has to say on different matters but the very fact that he expounds what he believes in simple, straight and plain words is certainly something to be appreciated as a personal quality and plus point of the person who seemingly is confronting a number of problems.
Only the other day while answering queries from selected small crowd in the PTV programme, President General Pervez Musharraf said that he did not like to pass on the buck to someone else if he took a wrong decision on the basis of an advice on the matter given by one of his advisors and close aides out of sincerity of purpose. He said that he accepts the responsibility for accepting a wrong advice instead of going back to the person concerned and blaming him for the same.
Quite rightly, accepting the responsibility for one or other decision even under rather difficult situation is something to be appreciated. Good qualities of a person should be duly acknowledged brushing aside political or other differences whatsoever. How many of us indulge in this good practice in daily life?
