Pakistan termed "baseless" a reported statement by Indian minister for external affairs regarding the involvement of Pakistani missions abroad in anti-India propaganda and facilitating the terrorists on Thursday.
"Pakistan missions abroad conduct themselves strictly in accordance with the established diplomatic norms," Foreign Office spokesperson Tasnim Aslam said in a press release issued here.
The spokesperson said Pakistan missions respect the laws and norms that require diplomatic missions not to propagate against a third country. She said, on the other hand there was evidence about the engagement of Indian missions in maligning Pakistan, while some of them in the neighbourhood had also contacts with elements hostile to Pakistan's interests.
On allegations about facilitating terrorists, she said Pakistan is itself a victim of terrorism. "We are fighting terrorism and are co-operating with the international community in the efforts to eradicate this menace."
