Supreme Court grants stay order to Narang Bus Stand's allottees

A four-member bench of the Supreme Court on Thursday granted stay order to allottees of Narang Bus Stand, Quetta after hearing the arguments of the petitioners' counsel.
The bench of the Apex Court, comprising Justice Javed Iqbal, Justice Faqir Muhammad Khokhar, Justice Mian Shakirullah Jan and Justice M Javed Buttar heard the case and granted stay to petitioners.
Tariq Mahmood Advocate appeared before the court as counsel of the allottees and pleaded that Quetta Development Authority had refused to hand over possession of 108 plots to allottees on various reasons, including allotment of plots in some other housing schemes. After hearing the case in detail, the bench granted stay to allottees and adjourned the matter for the second week of next month.
