District and Sessions Judge (Nankana Sahib) Muhammad Suhaib Rumi and Additional Sessions Judge (Sheikhupura) Chaudhry Muhammad Azam ordered the release of 42 prisoners jailed for petty crimes, on personal sureties, during a visit to the District Jail Sheikhupura.
The judges inspected various section of the facility including the Langar Khana (mess), hospital, women wing and barracks, and expressed satisfaction over the cleanliness and security measures ensured in the prison premises. Jail Superintendent Tariq Lodhi, Deputy Superintendent Chaudhry Mukhtar Ahmed and other officials were also present on the occasion.
