Singapore bunker prices held steady on Friday, but the differential to fuel oil cargo values remained in the red for the second straight session on poor demand.
Prices for the 380-centistoke (cst) were pegged at $368-$370 a tonne, unchanged from the last session, with the differential at a discount of $1.50, narrowing 13 cents. "Demand is still poor, it seems many shipowners took long positions earlier this week, before the outright prices went up," said a supplier.
