Federal Minister for Investment and Privatisation Chaudhry Wasi Zaffar has asserted that Sharif Brothers' return would not pose any challenge to the government. Return of Sharif Brothers is not a challenge for the government.
We have successfully faced them politically in the past and now PML is in better position to bear them in political arena, Zafar said here while talking to different delegations of traders, citizens, Nazims, Naib Nazims, councillors and party workers at Jaranwala.
He said that there were lots of slips between lips and cups and prevailing situation might take another turn before September 10. PML has worked for the welfare of masses and record development projects were carried out by the present government, he said claming that the ruling party would win the upcoming election with thumping majority on the basis of its performance in power.
"Sharif Brothers should keep it in their mind that they were allowed to go abroad under an agreement and they must honour their commitments" he asked. About the issue of' uniform, he said that parliament had allowed President Musharraf to continue in uniform and it was now his discretion to take appropriate decision to doff uniform at a suitable time. Wasi Zafar accused opposition of wasting one full term instead of working for welfare of people. It is now exploiting unnecessary issues including uniform to hoodwink masses and attract their attention, he added.
He claimed that the masses were fully satisfied with the performance of present government and wanted continuity of existing 'people-friendly' policies and present set-up.
