Mian Amir Mahmood District Nazim in a ceremony here on Thursday hoisted 'Hilal-e-Istqlal at Jinnah Hall. Hilal-e-Istqlal was conferred upon the City of Lahore in 1965 war. District Nazim on the occasion appreciated the services of country's armed forces for their valor in 1965 war.
He saluted people of Lahore for their determination in the war and said that the nation would again rise to occasion if tested by any adversary.
