Pakistan Foundry Association will organise 2nd International Foundry Congress and Exhibition (IFCE) to introduce Pakistani foundries globally covering the entire segment of foundry industry ranging from suppliers of raw materials and manufacturers of foundry machinery to the product range of foundries from large, medium and small sized sectors.
To create hype of 2nd IFCE 2007, PFA delegation called on the Ambassador Republic of Netherlands Willen Andreae at his residence. Commercial secretaries of the European Union were also present on the occasion.
The Ambassador underlined the need to expand trade relations with Pakistan and said that the business community of Pakistan has to improve its competitiveness to expand exports. He assured his full cooperation in this regard.
President Pakistan Foundry Association Sikandar Mustafa Khan said that European companies were shifting their production units to other countries due to high cost of production and environmental problems adding Pakistan was interested to get her share in this shifting.
He said that the association was striving for technology up-gradation in the country and European countries can play leading role in this field. General Secretary, Pakistan Foundry Association Asim Qadri gave a detailed presentation on the forthcoming International Foundry Congress and Exhibition and invited the diplomats to carry their message to their business houses for participation in the congress.
