Strict security measures taken in capital

The law-enforcement agencies have been put on alert in the Federal Capital and strict checking is being conducted at entry and exit points of the city, the official sources said.
The Sub-Divisional Police Officers and Station House Officers have been directed to enhance patrolling in their respective areas and keep a vigilant eye on suspicious elements. They have also been directed to check the hotels and ask their management to maintain proper record of the visitors.
According to the sources, the policemen in plain clothes have been deputed at sensitive places and markets. The horse-riding policemen have also started patrolling in the forest areas and green belts.
