Kangana Ranaut, who is known to speak up her mind fearlessly and who rose up the issue of nepotism responds to Vika Bahl’s sexual harassment charges.
A report in Mumbai Mirror states that the woman employee alleged that she was molested by Bahl during a trip to Goa a few months back.
Talking to reporters at an event for Melange by Lifestyle in Mumbai, the actress said: "This is a very serious issue and women should show courage to come out and talk about the harassment in public.
"More women should come out and talk about whatever they feel because that's how there will be awareness about these issues and of course, there will always be another side of the story as well and then there will be the authorities, who can decide what is the right thing to do. But people should speak up about whatever they feel, whether they are right or wrong, they must speak up and discuss," Kangana added.
Recently, there were reports that a female employee of his production house Phantom Films has complained against filmmaker Vikas Bahl saying he has molested her. There were allegations that the filmmaker had forced himself on the complainant in an intoxicated condition during a trip to Goa.
Meanwhile, Vikas Bahl has denied the sexual harassment charges against him.
Vikas Bahl won every woman’s heart with the Kangana Ranaut starrer ‘Queen’, which made the actress into a superstar. But the recent sexual harassment allegations against him are troubling too. The National Award winning filmmaker is now facing some serious charges, which are quite contrary to the kind of messages his women-oriented films carry.
