Motorola unveils ultimate video experience

Motorola, Inc on Tuesday unveiled the ultimate video experience at IBC 2007. The live demonstrations are based on Motorola's breadth of gateways, set-top boxes and video solutions, showing experiences such as Follow Me TV TM (where content can be moved across multiple set-tops ion the home) and on-demand services such as Time-Shifted TV (providing flexibility to pause, restart, fast forward and rewind the TV program).
Speaking at the convention, Joe Cozzolino, Corporate Vice President and General Manager of Home and Networks Mobilitv EMEA, said: "Almost 50 percent of broadband users now watch content online and viewers are embracing the ability to personalise how they view TV and video. On-demand is now becoming common place in homes across the EMEA regions."
Key demonstrations from the Motorola end-to-end video ecosystem include live IPTV, video on demand and high definition services enabled by Motorola's high definition MPEG-4 AVC encoding technology, he said.
