Farewell to Arshad Mahinood

"A vice chancellor can only be successful in a university, if he himself acts as an institution and uses the optimal potential of his team members in a right direction. I myself worked with a commitment and a vision to take Punjab University to new heights and my team members always extended their full support in this endeavour; in collaboration with a vision."
Punjab University Vice Chancellor Arshad Mahinood told a farewell ceremony, organised in his honour by the Faculty of economics and management sciences Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences dean Professor Dr Zafar Iqbal Jadoon said Arshad Mahmood had put the university on its way to success with his committed and honest services, which was now offering numerous benefits to the student body that also increased by threefold in the last eight years.
He said the VC created new disciplines to offer market-oriented education to the university students. He said the VC had always supported those, who wanted to work. He also said the VC accepted challenges according to the management principles and then led his selected learn like a true leader. Institute of Business and Information Technology's director Professor Dr Nayydi-Raza Zaidi and others also spoke.
