Modest business was seen on the grain market on Tuesday as most of the buyers kept on the sidelines to see prices come down to their desired levels, dealers said. On the gram side gram garda Punjab posted fresh gain of Rs 50 to Rs 2900-3025, gram dal Punjab was up by Rs 50 to Rs 3500-3600.
Yellow peas Canada picked up Rs 25 to Rs 2650-2775, yellow peas dal Canada picked up the same amount at Rs 2950-3075. Beetle chana No 1 gained Rs 50 to Rs 3000-3125, beetle 50x50 was up by Rs 50 to Rs 2925-3025. Dal beetle gained Rs 25 to Rs 3600-3725, theysaid. Bajra low type rose by 75 to Rs 450 and good type gained Rs 250 to Rs 650, they said.
On the cereal side wheat old shed Rs 50 to Rs 1500 and new type was lower by Rs 55 to Rs 1510, other commodity items did not show any change in process of trading, they said. On the rice sector Irri-6 Sindh low type shed Rs 20 to Rs 1730 and superior type lost Rs 40 to Rs 1760, they said.
