The Ministry of Religious Affairs, Zakat and Ushr, while reviewing the existing Ziarat Policy on visits to Muslim shrines in India, has brought certain changes therein in the public interest. According to Ministry's Spokesman Muhammad Sarwar here on Wednesday, the condition of repeating visit by a zair after 12 months had now been replaced by 36 months.
He said application fee had been enhanced from Rs 50 to Rs 100, and added that only those persons would be allowed to visit India who produced their medical certificates duly issued by a registered medical practitioner that they were meiotically fit and did not suffer from any contagious disease.
