Minfal not responsible for wheat crisis: minister

Federal Minister for Food and Agriculture and Livestock Sikandar Hayat Bosan has said that Minfal was not responsible for the current wheat crisis and figures of bumper crop were also correct
Talking to newsmen here on Wednesday the minister said that there was no bone of contention when President announced to doff his uniform and now democracy would be stabilised and the continuation of policies would be ensured by President General Pervez Musharraf's second term as civilian President of Pakistan.
He said Pakistan Muslim League and its allied parties had encouraged democratic values and introduced the culture of good governance under the dynamic leadership of President General Pervez Musharraf. He said PML-Q would contest the upcoming general elections and get the public mandate on the basis of successful economic policies and for introducing the political stability in the country.
He said, "Our ancestors had rendered sacrifices for the achievement of freedom and it is the obligatory duty of each member of PML-Q to take active part in forwarding the country and develop it according to the dreams of Quaid-i-Azam as a progressive Islamic state and added the government had initiated several measures for the betterment of law and order in the country. "People of Pakistan are always ready to render sacrifices for their brethren' as they did during earthquake (October 5, 2005) he maintained.
