Resignations will not bear fruitful results: PML

25 Sep, 2007

The leaders of All Parties Democratic Movement (APDM) are trying to use the issue of presidential elections to fulfil their nefarious designs which must be condemned.
These views were expressed by Punjab Minister for Mines and Minerals Muhammad Sibtain Khan, Minister for Industries, Muhammad Ajmal Cheema, Parliamentary Secretary Rubina Sulehri Noor and PML leader Noor Ahmad Ranjha here on Monday.
They said the politics of resignation would not bear fruitful results because presidential election would be held as per the schedule and present assemblies would re-elect General Pervez Musharraf as President of Pakistan for the next five years.
General Pervez Musharraf is 'indispensable' for the nation because, they said, "He is a man of principle and international community not only recognises his policies but also regarded his opinion. General Pervez Musharraf is the great leader who put the nation and country on the road of prosperity and progress." They said that a few elements those who are opposing President General Pervez Musharraf they are not the well wishers of the country.
