Bulls returned in the front seat at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where major players and small investors injected fresh investment in hot favourites amid increase in index. ISE-10 Index showed an increase of 6.45 points as it moved from 2,954.39 to 2,960.84 points.
The overall turnover stood at 1,585,000 shares as compared to previous volume of 1,796,200 shares. Total 127 companies participated in buying and selling activity.
Majority of stocks (83) closed in positive territory, 40 landed in minus column, whereas four companies remained pegged to their previous levels. The volume of Bank Al Falah was 34,500 shares. The turnover of Javed Omer Vohra & Co was 187,700 shares as compared to previous volume of 438,100 shares. The volume of Bosicor Pakistan was 199,500 shares.
