US MIDDAY: wheat climbs

28 Sep, 2007

Wheat futures at all three US futures exchanges rose to all-time highs early Thursday amid export demand and a weak dollar, traders said. Inflationary fears seemed to fuel the buying, they added.
Chicago wheat was at an all-time high of $9.46-1/2 per bushel hit in the March contract, Kansas City was at a new top of $9.26, notched in December and Minneapolis hit an all-time high of $8.93 in March by 10:04 am CDT.
