The Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Muhammad Ali Durrani on Friday has termed the Supreme Court verdict in the dual office case "a triumph of law, justice and principles." The Minister congratulated President General Pervez Musharraf, Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz, coalition parties and people of Pakistan on the apex court judgement.
Referring to the announcement of the opposition for not accepting the verdict, Durrani said that these politicians are happy with decisions only as per their own interest'. Further he added "the irresponsible attitude of the opposition shows their clear goal of achieving power, and they are not ready to accept any decision against their interest."
This has also exposed opposition's baseless claims of respecting the apex court, Durrani said. Explaining government's policy, Durrani said, " the government has full respect for the constitution, laws and all the apex court verdicts has introduced a system reinforcing the national institutions".
