Three Pakistan Post officials suspended

The Additional Postmaster-General, Central Punjab, Rubina Tayyab, on Friday suspended three officials of Pakistan Post Office here in Lahore city for inordinate delay in the delivery of mail. Talking to APP, she said that during a preliminary enquiry, initially three officials were held responsible for delay in delivery of mail.
They were suspended, while enquiry "is still in progress", she added. It was brought to the notice of Pakistan Postal Service Corporation Chairman at an Iftar dinner that invitations dispatched in the city on September 20 remained undelivered to the invitees even after the passage of four days. She, therefore, had ordered enquiry into the matter.
