The Alhamra Arts Centre and the Alhamra Cultural Complex, functioning under the Lahore Arts Council (LAC) are being upgraded while a new facility will also be established at the bank of River Ravi, said Punjab Minister for Culture, Chaudhry Shaukat Ali Bhatti.
The minister was addressing a meeting here on Friday announced a Rs 60 million package to upgrade the project. The meeting was informed that about eight million rupees would be spent on these projects as to upgrade the sound and lighting equipment of LHC including it's security and air-conditioning system during the current fiscal year.
