Modest trading was seen on the grain market on Saturday as only needy buyers participated in the fresh deals, dealers said. On the cereals side masoor Canada picked up Rs 200 to Rs 4200 and masoor dal Canada followed suit and quoted at Rs 5000.
Urad from Burma low type gained Rs 150 to Rs 1700 and best type was up by Rs 25 in process of trading, they noted. Wheat old was registered at Rs 1450-1500 and new at Rs 1465-1515, they said. Other items did not move any side in process of trading, they said.
